Lexi Unicomb has been practicing physiotherapy for 6 years, having graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2019. Her junior years as a physio began at The Physio Joint, where she built her skills in all things musculoskeletal. During this time as a junior physio, she also gained insightful knowledge in post-surgical (orthopaedics), vestibular, neurological and amputee management.
Lexi has spent much of her time travelling through all corners of the world, from Asia, over to Europe and all through Africa. She spent time volunteering at local hospitals in Tanzania, Africa, where she gained invaluable knowledge regarding physiotherapy treatment, healthcare and medicines.
Over the last few years Lexi has spent her time focusing on growing a successful physiotherapy career in Mayfield and continuing to educate herself in treating head and neck pain, as well as concussing management.
Lexi is a well-known Netball coach in the Newcastle and Hunter Region, having coached many Club, Representative and Metro League Division teams. She is an Intermediate accredited coach.
Away from work, Lexi is an avid history buff and world traveller. She loves to learn new things, see extraordinary places and be immersed in new cultures. At just 20 years of aged, she hiked and summited Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the sevens summits of the world and witnessed the Big 5 during her safari quests.
